Online Repeat Prescriptions Requests

Online is the best way to send in your prescription requests. For details of how to register for online services; including prescription requests, appointment booking and record access, see our GP Online Services page.

If you are already registered for Online Serivces you can use the NHS App or the NHS website to request medication: https://www.nhsapp.service.nhs.uk/patient/prescriptions

Please note the following order/collection times:

• Monday collection Friday the same week
• Tuesday collection Monday the following week
• Wednesday collection Tuesday the following week
• Thursday collection Wednesday the following week
• Friday collection Thursday the following week
• Saturday collection the following Friday
• Sunday collection the following Friday

Any items that require clinical input may take longer.

Please note that from the 1st June 2026 we will no longer be sending out routine text messages when your prescription is ready to collect. Please allow four working days before collecting. We also advise that you only contact the surgery regarding the status of your prescription if it has exceeded the stated four working days. Thank you 

Prescriptions may also be ordered in person, in writing or using the email address dispensary.saxmundhamhealth@nhs.net.
